Aaaah, Wilbur. "Challenge" is not a strong enough word for you. You teach me something new every time I see you, and I appreciate these lessons. You are fun, quirky, stubborn, and too smart for your own (or any dog's) good. Though I get frustrated with you sometimes, I want you to know that I wouldn't have you any other way.

Mom took Star on a walk WIHOUT ME! I sat and cried and cried at the door, but one of the other humans came and played with me after awhile so it was OK, I guess. When Star got back she was really scared about something and wouldn't play with me, but she seems okay now.
I almost caught the cat-thing again today. I jumped up to the edge of the pool table to grab her down and Mom got all mad and squirted me! I don't see why, I just want to play with the cat-thing!! After all, if Star doesn't want to play, who am I supposed to play with?! I'll try again later.
One of the humans is missing, and has been for a few days. I don't know where he's gone, but the other humans have been home more since he left so it's not so bad. He used to get mad when they gave me people food, so I get lots more of it now. People food is the best. And cat food. And dog food. And wrappers. And cardboard. And wood....
