In Heaven

Today, my good friend Butch crossed the bridge. He was less than a month from turning 18. Butch was the best little friend that anyone could ever have ask for. He can now see clearly, hear every sound and chew every bone that God has for him. I will miss my buddy but I know he is in a better place and is now free of pain.

I love you Butch.

Roomba vs Tiny Toy Poodle Pickle

Mom and Dad came home from work the other day to find that Roomba had got stuck under the computer chair. Mom told Dad to get it loose and turn it on so it could finish the job.

So when Dad turned it on he says.. “Do you smell that? It smells like (bad word) in here”.

Mom: “I don’t smell anything”

Dad: “Maybe its this blanket that the dogs lay on”

Mom: “I washed all the throws and Butchs’ bed except for that one blanket.. That’s probably what you smell.”

Well, Mom proceeded to go into the kitchen and noticed that Yeller Dawg was sniffing something on the floor. Upon further inspection she could see what used to be….. (OK, I couldn’t wait, I had to go..) a little poodle pickle on the floor. Now I am only 6 pounds so normally IF I happen to leave a little poodle pickle on the floor, its no big deal.. Pick it up, flush it.

Well, if any of you have a Roomba or know anything about them, they have this feature where if they come across an extra dirty area, they will just spin and spin and spin until they think they get it clean enough. Well, not only did Roomba spin and spin in an attempt to clean the area, it went ahead and went into the living room and proceeded to “Clean” in there too.. carrying what was left of the poodle pickle with it. Who would have thought that a Tiny Toy Poodle pickle could cover that much area!!!

I tried to stop it.. really I did but it over-powered me. I was lucky that it didn't "Clean" me too! Luckily, we have hard wood floors and not carpet.

Mom still loves her Roomba (even though it took forever to clean) and says its the greatest invention ever!

Good Grief.. Not another one...

Mom has done it again! She brought in this teeny tiny baby kitten. Only 3 weeks old. It was so tiny, it didn't even have teeth. She had to bottle feed it. It really is kinda cute though. I really don't like other animals but I think I kinda like this little girl. She has the best smellin' butt! I could sniff it all day!

Now that little baby kitten, named Grace, has teeth and she bites! Shes goin' on 6 weeks old. She will not leave me alone! She scratches my snout, pounces on my head and takes over my bed!! Mom and Dad thinks its cute. I growl at her but she doesn't listen. I end up having to just move and let her have it! She still has a real good smellin' butt though.

That stupid dog Zeb thinks she belongs to him. Whenever I want to smell her butt and hes around, he growls and shows his teeth to me. I'd like to know who made him the boss of her!! Geez, I hate Zeb!!!

There I was, just minding my own business, trying to catch a nap or 10 before bedtime. (Its always good to have a few of those before bedtime.. helps ya sleep better at night) Then there he was with his big nose stuck in my face. Every time I try and get a little shut eye, here he comes. Does he think I wanna play with him or something? NOT! I don't have time for his foolishness. How old does he think I am anyway. And then theres Mom.. "Oh Look how cute. Zeb loves Butch". Common Mom, Zeb just wants to bother me. Tell him to leave me alone! Geez, I hate Zeb!
