Arrival Story:
We adopted Maggie through Project Pet (the best rescue organization out there!) a year after we adopted Rusty. She was the cutest dog that Project Pet had available, and we just had to take her home! She was brought to the pound by a family that kept her kenneled all the time, except for bathroom breaks. We also think she was abused by a man, as it took her quite some time to warm up to any man (including Matt). She has made such progress in the past few years, that no one intimidates her any more!
