My Precious Angel,
My heart still aches even after all this time.
I try to move on knowing that you're in a wonderful place, full of life and love and happiness, and when we meet again, it will be more joyous than I could ever imagine.
But I still need you, I need you to help me be strong, I need your forgiveness for not doing more to ease your suffering and to keep you here with me. Why didn't I try harder to save you? You depended on me to protect you. You were always there for me, and I let you down. Why did I listen to everyone else?
Please know that I love you so & miss you every day!

My Precious Baby Girl,
Although it's been two years since you went to the Bridge, it seems like just yesterday. Even now, I miss you so and feel that words cannot express how dear you were to me and how much I still love you with all I have. I continue to feel I let you down, that I didn't try hard enough to help you, that I should've done more to try to find some way to cure you, but I am always told there was nothing we could've done. I hope you've forgiven me because I don't think I'll ever truly forgive myself. You trusted me and loved me and I should have done more. I know you've moved on and that you are now healed and happy and playing with all your angel friends but I selfishly wish I still had you here. I want to wake up to your wet nose in my face as you lay your pretty head on the edge of the bed. I want to stroke those soft beautiful ears and smell the top of your little Dutchy head as I give you a kiss. Just know, sweet girl, that I love you dearly and I will wait for you in my dreams as I have every day.

SEVEN FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
1. When Daddy would scold me I would take two steps back & bark at him (Mommy says I was being fresh but she would always laugh).
2. I used to ride around in a raft in our pool, with my brother Duke, when we were puppies.
3. I would always wait for Mommy to wake up in the morning before I would eat or go outside (I didn't want to go for Daddy).
4. I would never stray outside my yard - Mommy never had to put me on a leash.
5. I put our dalmation neighbor, Ranger, in his place once & he never bothered me after that (he thought he was a tough guy)!
6. I loved my kitty brother Pedro & he loved me!
7. I loved to smile!!!

Happy Birthday Precious Angel!! I know you are celebrating with all your angel pals at the Rainbow Bridge & having a wonderful time! I wish you were here so I could shower you with treats & love on your special day! I miss you so very much my sweet baby girl and I love you more than words can say!

Well baby girl, today's the day - it's been one year since you went to the Rainbow Bridge. I still miss you so!! I thought it would be easier, and I guess in some ways it is, but it still hurts and there are many times when I wish I could just hug you and stroke your ears and smell your pretty head...
Daddy & I are planting a tree today, just for you, so you will always be remembered, but you know that I will never forget you and will always miss you and most importantly love you! You will always be my precious girl! xoxoxoxoxo

I never understood until you...
how deep a love could be
how unconditional and forgiving
how with no spoken words so much could be said
and with these things, how a life could be completely changed forever.
You're life was not long and not always easy, but the love you gave me and the lessons you taught me will live on forever and ever. I can't wait to see you again one day and look into those big brown eyes, stroke those pretty ears and smell the top of your head when I kiss you. I miss you so and love you more than words could ever say.
