Arrival Story: We lost our beloved rottweiler, Dutchess, to a neurological disorder and felt such a tremendous lonliness that we decided we should try to find someone to bring some joy back into our home. Sammy was the first pup we looked at and we just couldn't resist him!
Bio: Update **3/06/08 - 170 lbs.! Update **8/28/07 - Sampson is up to a slim 152lbs. and still growing! The vet says he'll keep filling out for another year or so - OMD! Daddy says he's too skinny but Mommy (& the vet) win 'cause they say he looks great!! Update **9/1/06 - Sampson is up to 135lbs! He already weighs as much as his 'birth mother' (& wayyy more than his 'humommy' - which is abundantly clear when I try to walk him!)** Sammy's mother is a brindle mastiff also and she weighs about 135 pounds and his father is a fawn mastiff weighing in at 185 pounds! He has one sister, who is also brindle. Who knows, one day he may get a live in girlfriend if we manage to find her during a moment of weakness and forget how ginormous these dogs get!! I know Sammy's got his paws crossed on that one!
I can't believe I've made it through a whole year without you...
I still miss you so & think of you always...
I am so very blessed that you were sent to me, my sweet angel, and although our time was short, you touched my heart & you will forever hold a place therein...
These words I write seem scattered and can't possibly express my deep love and connection with you, and the loss I feel daily. But I wanted to let you know, on this anniversary of the day you had to leave, that you have not and never will be forgotten and you are loved more than words can ever say.
Thank you my sweet, sweet boy for the love you shared with me!!
Until we meet again angel,
Love forever & always,
Sampson, my Love,
I miss you every day!! At times I am suddenly overwhelmed by how my heart aches for you. I love you dearly & am so thankful that you chose us to be your family. Thank you, my sweet, for loving me & being such a wonderful, wonderful boy!
Until we meet again, Poodle...
All my love,
Sampson went to the Rainbow Bridge last night at about 9:45. His poor heart just couldn't take it anymore.
I just wanted to let all those who sent their love, prayers & support know, that we all have a new guardian angel, and to say thank you....
Sampson, my gentle giant, I always adored you more than words could possibly say and I can't thank you enough for choosing us to be your family! You will always be the absolute love of my life my sweet, brave boy!
