Arrival Story:
Justin was given to a friend of mine who was a dog trainer, and he was up for adoption. I met him when I was training my older shepherd mix Lobo (who has since passed). Lobo was kind of aggressive with other male dogs, but when he met Justin, they were fine together, so I agreed to take Justin home. He was given up apparently, because his previous owners thought he was too passive (his old name was Rambo!). Well, after two days I noticed that his passivity was anything but normal. The vet diagnosed him with a genetic heart condition. After several visits to a specialist and several years of medication, Justin has been able to live a normal life.
Bio:
Justin is the mushiest dog I've ever had. He just loves you to death and wants to be wherever we are. He has never hurt a fly and in his younger years excelled at obedience and utility dog training.
