Arrival Story:
My sister, a dog owner, strongly recommended I get a dog. I went to the local rescue center and they didn't have any small dogs. There was some puppies, but they wouldn't be available until another 4 weeks. I knew I wouldn't come back. If I didn't get a dog that day, I wouldn't get a dog. Then, Sadie came over to me and stuck her head under my hand for a petting. I took her for a test walk and she was very mannerly (that has since changed) and didn't pull on my lead. I was a little intimidated because she was so much bigger than I had planned for. The rescue center explained they had difficulty placing large, black dogs, which Sadie was. I took her and it was my best decision ever!
Bio:
I was told that she was rescued as pup by the director of the rescue center. The director was able to place all the other pups except Sadie. She was 1 year old when she was placed in the rescue center. She was only there 2 weeks before I rescued her.
