Momma says I am ill, she took me to the vet lady, and then when she came home, Momma cried and cried. The Vet lady told Momma I have anal sack cancer, that was three months ago, but I feel fine, I play and eat, and don't show any signs of discomfort. Momma ordered some pills from Florida, where ever that is, and they are a natural pain reliever, I take them everyday, so does my brother Jackson, he has sore hips. Momma says they are a wonderful product, my brother was avoiding the stairs and was kinda grummpy, he didnt want to play with me, I am getting on in years, he is only 5.Since we have been taking them we are doing really well. Momma takes very good care of us, Daddy has been sick again, but he is home and doing better too. Momma worries all the time, about us and Daddy. We still take our walks everyday, and Momma puts Pumpkin in our food for our anal sacks, and also to make it easier for me to go to the bathroom.Momma says one day at a time for me, she says as long as my quality of life is good, that I will stay with her and Daddy, Momma says she wishes I could stay forever, but knows it isnt possible,I love her , and I know she loves me too. I was her first Bassethound, she says I am the one who got her hooked on our breed.Well later. Emma

The stinky stuff

On today's walk I found something really stinky,I dropped on my back so quickly and rolled in it,before Momma knew what was happening.Momma gets upset with me when I do this,but I just want to perfume myself up,just in case I see another handsome Basset boy in the area.One never knows who you might meet on a walk.

The squirrel

We have a squirrel that keeps coming into our back yard,my brother Jackson and I are trying to kill him,he thinks he is so smart,he was running on our fence and almost fell down.He will make a mistake,and we will get him.Daddy gets a big kick out of Us,cause we run really fast and chase him.Only a matter of time,and he will be mine,AROOOOOOOOOOO

Things we do

Yesterday my brother Jackson,had to see the vet lady.He had been dragging his bottom on the floor.I got to ride in the car too,but did not want to go inside ,I don't like the vet lady,and very seldom behave myself when I am there,I tried to bite her once,when she was clipping my toenail,Momma and Daddy take us to a really good groomer now,and I have been very good with her.I can be good if I want too.Two weeks ago My Daddy had a stroke,we were very worried,expecially our Momma,my brother and I fought like crazy.we were so worried about Daddy.He is home now,and doing alot better.
