Arrival Story:
We got Thunder when we first moved to Florida, he was the cutest little puppy I have ever seen. We purchased him at 6 weeks from someone who didnt take very good care of him, as he was full of fleas and ticks, after many baths and treatments, he was beautiful. He adopted our family right away. Thunder was NEVER ever a disappointment, always just a wonderful family member.

Thunder has had his bucket from when he was a pup, he carried it all around with him, as you can see in the pictures it was very well used and could never be replaced. Why he loved it, we will never know but he sure did, he held it till he went to the rainbow bridge. Now we treasure it as much as he did. Hope you have a bucket in heaven Thunder, see you by the bridge Boy.

Thank you Data seven, for tagging me! This sounds like fun!

Here are the rules (Hint: Copy and paste the rules so you don't have to type them again):

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to pmail them and tell them that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or you could send them a rosette announcing they've been tagged!

1) I love, love to carry my bucket around, when someone sees me I RUN with it.
2) I love watching everything my Mom does.
3) I used to really enjoy taking rides in the car with Mom, I would always have my head out the window.
4) I used to play look and hide. When ever someone would look at me I would RUN away. Ohhhh that was so much fun. I would run away barking with joy.
5) I loved to play with MY kids, it was fun to watch them grow up to be great people.
6)I always had fun watching everyone pass our house as I layed on the couch. (oh dont tell I was NOT allowed on the couch) when I would see Mommy or Daddy I would slide off so they would'nt see me. I guess they never saw me as they never yelled. Ha Ha
7) Now I am at the bridge and I play with all my friends who are there, I have a lot of real new friends here now, they came here not long ago. I also Love playing with my cousin Smudge, he just got here, I am showing him the ropes. BUT he knows NOT to touch my bucket.
Now you know more about me. I hope you enjoy playing also. Have fun.. remember.... TAG your it!

Hi this is Thunders Mom, I would like to thank all the wonderful pups and parents on here. I have never met such kind caring people as I have on this site. Thunder has been gone for 9 months now but it still feels like just yesterday he was here. I miss him every day, but being on here has made the separation more bearable. The kind things said about him makes me feel so good, I heard great things about him when he was still with me, then after he went to the bridge I really missed hearing how wonderful he was. Now through this site I again hear how handsome and good he was (is). Well, again thank you for your kind words.. Thunders Mom (Karen)

Our Boy, was a very proud, Happy, loving and playful Shepherd. He would always run and play, But, time was his enemy, he developed a condition called Degenerative myelopathy. It was slow at first but after a while it grew more aggressive, he started to drag his back legs but still continued to play. Then the week before he went to the bridge, he got to where he couldnt walk without falling down. Well, Thunder was too proud to live like that but we tried to hold on to him. Then on the morning of April, 19th 2005, he could no longer get up. The look he gave us was so heartbreaking, it was as if to say Mom Im ready... We took him on his last ride, unfortunatly it was to his Vet. The Dr. gave him the shot and Thunder just looked at us and went to sleep. He went as brave and proud as he lived his life. We lost our precious baby boy that day, but never the memories he left with us. Our very loyal friend will always be missed.
