Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 3rd 1992
Likes: He likes to be close to Mommy and keep his routine at home.

Pet-Peeves: He becomes anxious when Mommy is away, he hates to be alone.

Favorite Toy: He used to love catching small bouncing rubber balls, but now he just keep them by his side. He doesn't play anymore.

Favorite Food: Eukanuba Senior and any kind of fruit... he loves most peach and banana.

Favorite Walk: He can't walk on his on paws for much time or climb stairs so he stays at home all the time on his bed, Mommy's bed or in a little corner at the stairs.

Best Tricks: When he was younger and playful, we used to hide his rubber balls and he would find them anywhere, even if hidden inside drawers. He would sit in front the drawer staring at it indefinitely until we would give the ball back to him.

Arrival Story: I was given Dondon as a birthday present by a boyfriend who had seen a Cocker Spaniel and loved the breed. He was an adorable puppy very affectionate and loyal until he became blind. This caused him to be very anxious and afraid of everything. He depends on Matilda, Pippa and Clara as he guides himself by their noises (paws, woofs, etc) and smells. They are very patient and even respect him very much. Matilda always gives him priority for everything before any of the other paws ^__^

Bio: He waits for me all day long patiently in a little corner of the stairs. He only relax when I'm back home. My family, our other '4 paws' and I do our very best to keep him always safe and
comfortable as he much deserves all the love, patience and attention now that he's in need of them. This boy deserves THE BEST!
VERY VERY SPECIAL: We would like to thank Dogster community and friends from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we've received for our sweet Dondon. It has meant a lot to all of us. Thanks Pixie for creating Dondon's so beautiful wings (he was really in need of them to fly and search light), Rudy for the special support requesting the wings and the dearest Mattie who was Dondon's eyes all the time. You have all touched us deeply with your kindness and love.

Fly, fly precious one.
Your endless journey has begun.
Take your gentle happiness,
far too beautiful for this.
Cross over to the other shore,
where there is peace forevermore.
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet,
until we meet.
Fly, fly do not fear.
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear.
Your heart is pure, your soul is free,
be on your way, don't wait for me.
Above the universe you'll climb,
on beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set,
but I won't forget.
Fly, fly little wing.
Fly where only angels sing.
Fly away, the time is right
Go now...find the light.

I have some words to say about my short haircut! :0) Once a year, always in November, I have a short haircut as here we are entering Summer and it's very hot! I do not know if I look pretty or not -- I can't count on Mommy's opinions as for her, I'll always be the prettiest boy ever! But I have to say that the 'girls' seem to love it as when I'm back from the pet store, they welcome me with a bunch of kisses and sniffs. After being bathed and having my haircut, they dress me with an elegant bow tie and I feel very 'impawtant', a Mr. Dondon! Mommy said that by January, my 'short haircut' will turn into a 'puppy cut' and I'll be extra pretty and cute to spend Summer! :OD When Summer will be gone, I'll be the same with a brand new fur!
Bye, bye pals!

I cannot see you Mommy, when you cuddle me so near.
And yet I know you love me, it's in the words I hear.
I cannot see you Daddy, when you hold me by your side
But still I know you love me when you tell me so with pride.
I cannot see to run and play out in the sun so bright
For here inside my tiny head it's always dark as night.
I cannot see the treats you give when I am extra good
But I can wag my tail in Thanks just like a good dog should.
"He cannot see. The dogs no good" is what some folks might say
"He can't be trained, he'll never learn He must be put away."
But not you, Mom and Daddy You know that it's alright
Because I love you just as much as any dog with sight.
You took me in, you gave me love and we will never part
Because I'm blind with just my eyes, I see you in my heart.
