Arrival Story:
I needed a dog to try to replace a ten year old shepherd that had bone cancer and passed. :( I traveled the pounds, but was afraid of an older, larger dog,because I had young children at home. I looked in the paper and saw an ad for American Staffordshire Terrior Pups. After talking to the breeder on the phone a couple times, we arranged to meet so I could see the pups. The litter still had 5 pups that weren't promised, and I had a rough time chosing. I played with all of them, but one seemed to fit right under my neck. I put her down and she just turned around and gave me 'the' look. I knew this was the face I was looking for. She's been sleeping with me ever since!
Bio:
Mya is the most lovable, loyal, tolerant dog I have ever had. She is so well behaved and inteligent. She loves children and just people. If you come to my house, she thinks it's to visit her!
