Arrival Story:
Once again we felt compelled to rescue a dog. Our neighbor was abusing her daily, plus keeping her outside all day and nite without food or water. She began to get rail thin,so I called animal control to report the abuse.They did nothing.The neighbor came over a few days ago and said he was moving out. He already abandoned his cat (we are feeding him along with our feral cats)and I told him to give me his dog. He didnt hesitate, he handed her over and said she wasnt "housebroken". After a few choice words for this moron, I took sasha into our house. After about two hours of tearing around a full speed, she laid down next to me, and hasnt left my side since. She IS housebroken if you watch her. So far, only one accident in the house.She loves belly rubs and attention. She tries to engage clyde the housecat in a game of chase..but clyde isnt buying, which is funny since clyde does the same thing to our old poodle nicky. Shes a very young pup, and I think shes part long-haired daschund and terrier, judging by her long body and ability to jump about 4 feet straight up. She is very active which doesnt please our older poodle, or clyde the declawed house cat. But she is a love sponge,and I am glad we got her away from that moron. If only I could have permanent black mascara around my eyes like she does!

Bio:
Sasha is a crazy type-A personality of a dog, which pretty much matches me according to my husband. She loves moving through the world at the speed of light. She loves to take a quick lap at midnight and chase any of my cats that might be lounging around the front yard (poor cats). She loves teasing Nicky the poodle with a biscuit since nicky eats hers asap, and Sasha savors them long and slow. Sasha and Baby play together and sleep together. Nicky is the grumpy old lady and will not let sasha sleep next to her. Sasha's only goal in life is to love and be loved. She is never far from me, and if I move, she is right behind me. Dogs are god's little angels sent from heaven..we are lucky to have them with us for the time they are here.
