My Doggone Life!

All most healed!

So i had to go see the guy in the white coat again and he took my 'lampshade' off and my stitches out. I can see so much better now. There is a little infection in one of my eyes so I have to take more medicine. But good new is I don't have to have the second surgery that mom thought was required. In other news, my daddy just built me a huge pen to run in outside. At my old place I was always outside. Well, now that mom and dad have showed me how nice they are I want to stay inside with them all the time. So this morning when mom put me outside to run; I decided I was going to dig my way out of the pen. And in the process I got my collar off with my ID tag. Luckily I didn't feel like running far and I only went around the house and then to the front door until daddy let me in! Mom was scared because we live right by a extremely busy road. So despite their short time of scolding me, mommy still let me up on the couch with her tonite. I know they still love me no matter what!

What?!?! Surgery???

Mom and Dad decided I need surgery to fix my eyes. My bottom eyelids have rolled inward and my eyes water all the time and I have trouble seeing. It just bother the heck out of me. So they drove me to see the guy in the white coat. (oh, no..i can see this isn't going to be good.) I'm not very happy with mom right now cuz she had to leave me there all night in a room full of other noisy dogs. Oh, gosh and there were cats!!! They wouldn't let me out to chase..I mean PLAY with them though. Now mommmy came to bring me home today and I am wearing this horrible collar that looks like a lampshade! It is so annoying I keep bumping into things. My eyes are all swollen. Although I'm not in any pain, mom still feels sorry for me and is feeding me treats like crazy!!! (Maybe I should wear this lampshade all the time!) So now I guess I am supposed to eat these funny tasting treats (mom calls them medicine) and lay around until I recover! All this pampering is nice, but I can't wait to get out of this thing. Mom thinks she is going to take some pictures of me with this stoopid thing on. Great! Now everyone will get to make fun of me!!
