Arrival Story:
Toby was found in San Diego, wandering in traffic, by two instructors from Cal State San Bernardino. They rescued him, but couldn't keep him because they already had dogs of their own. We found out about him from my wife's mom, who works at CSUSB. He has been a wonderful companion to Sable!
Bio:
Toby left us after an all-too-brief time on Friday, November 3, 2006. Some condition, either cancer or scarring from a previous injury, was causing his lung to collapse repeatedly. He was out of breath for his last two days alive, but stuck it out at the vet's until his family was able to say goodbye to him that Friday night. He died surrounded by his beloved people, and now waits for us on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
