Arrival Story:
I drove about 2500 miles in one week (900 of which were all in one day) to get this little dog. I got her from a woman in Mansfield, TX. She was the first dog I met and I fell in love, but I had to be sure. I checked several other places, but I knew that she was the one for me.

Bio:
Vixen is super friendly. She loves people and visitors to the house. She likes other dogs, but is very submissive and spends a lot of time 'frozen' in place while she gets sniffed. She gets a little scared at the dog park and tends to hide behind my legs. She's getting much better at going out and socializing, though. It's important that she is comfortable with other dogs and wants to play! She very rarely barks, never bites or nips, and is well trained. She can sit, roll over, lay down, shake, drop it, leave it, take it, lay down like she's dead, come, back up, and sometimes catch stuff in mid-air. She loves to sleep waaay down under the covers every night and get her belly rubbed until she's ready to start her day in the morning. She hates most sweaters, but if you put one on her and then give her a treat, she tends to forget it's there! Besides, Grandma PJ made her a cashmere sweater and Vixen doesn't mind wearing that one at all. She loves to stick her tongue up your nose any chance she gets, too. Her most recent adventures include mountain climbing. We're living in the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico and Vixen just loves to go for walks.
