Birthday: May 17th 2004 Likes: Playing with Toys, going for car rides, licking peoples noses. Pet-Peeves: People touching her feet! And she HATES Vacuum Cleaners. Favorite Toy: Moose, a little moose-like thing from Petsmart that rattles (no squeakers-she lost the privilage of squeakers long ago, she bites them and just keeps squeaking!) She also loves the lazer pointer. Favorite Food: Cheese, whenever a bag is opened she thinks she deserves some. She also feels this way about Goldfish crackers. What can I say? She likes cheese! Favorite Walk: Anywhere where she can sniff and run. Best Tricks: Sitting, Laying down, catching toys in her mouth, being the best dog ever. Arrival Story: I was looking for a Yorkie and couldn't afford one, so I called a lady in the paper and she gave me Annie's breeders info. I called, she told me that someone was coming to look at the 1/2 Yorkie 1/2 Chihuahua puppies that afternoon and I asked her if I could come over right now. She said yes, so I zoomed across town. She was the only one in the litter with brown on her and also looked most like a Yorkie. But as she's grown, the Chihuahua has come out more and more and she's oh so cute. I wouldn't change her for the world. Bio: We got Annie when she was just under 6 weeks old (by one day) and she was the cutest little thing. She learned things very quickly and is relatively very well behaved. We would go on a lot of walks when she was growing up and when she was 4 months old we were going for a walk and out of the blue this Corgie came running at us from her owners backyard. Annie was on a leash and I just figured this dog was coming to say hello like all the other wonderfully nice dogs in the neighborhood. Turns out that this was not this dog's agenda. Annie and I were on the sidewalk just past this house when the dog came running up. She grabbed my little Annie by the ribcage and started shaking her like she was a little toy. I screamed bloody murder and had to pry my little Annie out of this dogs mouth. Somehow I was the only one who bled out of this attack, but poor little Annie was left with a puntured left lung in two places. The owners came running and took their dog inside, informing me that this was the 2nd dog she's attacked. I was appauled that they would leave it off of a leash knowing that. Well, Annie was weezing pretty bad, so I carried her home and yelled at my sister (who I was living with at the time) and burst into tears. My sister drove me and Annie to the emergency vet and they put her on oxygen, took x-rays, found the problem, and bandaged her up. She had to stay over night, and of course I was a mess. But I got to pick her up in the morning and the poor little girl was so excited to see me after all she'd been through. Trust me, the feeling was mutual. I held her close all the next day and she healed just fine, thank god! We made a 15 year pact from that day on and I'm gonna hold her to her end of the bargin! Forums Motto: Pet me, pet me, pet me! Happy New Year Dogster! My year has been pretty eventful. I've moved twice in my life now, hopefully I'll only have to move one more time. My mom and dad finally got married, and I even got to go to their wedding reception for a little bit. There were so many of my favorite people there! It was a bunch of fun. Also, I got a little brother, and he is actually pretty cool, although I'd never tell him that. He's still smaller that me, and probably always will be, so I can still boss him around. Mom says I've done a good job teaching him how to be a good dog, so I feel pretty good about that.
I got some great new toys for Christmas, but mom says I have to share, I'm not so good at that. So that's going to be my New Years Resolution. I'm going to try to learn to share my toys and rawhides. It's going to be tough, but I'm gonna do my best. We'll see.
Well, I hope you all have a great 2007 and I hope I do too! Love you! -Annie
Hello Dogster! I'm just writing to say hello. I'd like to take back those things that I said last time about my little brother. Even though he can be a big pain in the -you know what- I guess I really do like him. Even though today he shut me in my house (kennel) and wouldn't let me out. Mom had to come rescue me. He's only three pounds, but he can be a handful! However, he is a good snuggle buddy, and he still lets be boss him around a little bit. Ok, well I'm gonna go for now. Just wanted to set the record straight. Love you all! -Annie
Well, I guess I got what I asked for. Two days ago, mom and dad came home with another puppy! I guess I did want a little brother, but now I'm having second thoughts... . Everytime we go somewhere, little Henry has to come too. Mom says that I'm gonna be a great older sister, since I'm supposedly the best dog in the world, but I'm not sure. I'm trying to play with him, but he's so little, and kinda annoying right now. All he does is steal my rawhides (which I of course have to steal back when he gets distracted 5 seconds later), and he jumps on me and bites my legs too! What am I gonna do!? Well, I make sure and keep you posted, but for now, I'm just gonna bare with him and hope that he turns into a great younger brother someday. -Annie
