Exciting things I've Done.

I Graduated !!!!

Hello all my Paw Pals..... guess what ????? I finally graduated from Puppy Training class at PetSmart. I think that means that I am kinda SMART now. woof.... woof..... I sure had a lot of fun during my 8 weeks training. And I really like the treats that my trainers Kaleena and Michael would give me for doing tricks for them. Well, gotta go and do some more tricks.

My First Vacation

Hey all my Paw Pals... My Mommy and I went on my first vacation last weekend. We drove all the way to Virginia to see my Grand Parents and my Great Granny.

I didn't know where I was going when Mommy packed all my stuff in the truck. It really scared me when she put my crate in there. I just knew I had done something bad and they were sending me away.

But I didnt mind once we got on that really long road with all those cars and trucks on it. Mommy let me sit on her lap and drive, drive, drive. I could see out the front window and the drivers window. And when I got so tired of driving, I just turned around and put my head on Mommys shoulder and rested.

I even learned to put my paw on the buttons on the door and roll down the window. I could smell sooo many things that I hadnt before. And the wind was blowing my hair. It was really cool. I could even sit on Mommys armrest and look out the window at all the trees and things. I felt like the King of the Road.

When we got to Nana and Grand Daddys house, I had so much fun. They have this really neat hill in the back that I could run up and down. Mommy would throw sticks and I would go get them for her. I dont know why she kept throwing them away. But I would get them for her everytime. Then these little brown things would run through the yard. I think they called them squirrels. I couldnt get them to play with me. Everytime I would run to catch them, they would run up a tree.

Then one day my Nana's doggie neighbors were in their yard. When I came outside they barked at me and I barked right back at them. They looked funny with all those spots on them. I think they were called Dalmations. So the next time I came outside, I would bark and run over to their fence. But they werent there. Dang, I was really gonna show them a thing or two.

Mommy took me to this really nice place to see my 'Big Mama'. They say she is almost 103 years old. Mommy put me in her lap and she gave me a really nice hug. Mommy told me to be nice and not kiss her. So I was a good boy and just let her hold me. I really liked my Big Mama. I want to go see her again.

We went to this place that had a fence around some water, and there were these funny looking things in the water that made a weird sound. They call them ducks and swans. I didnt bark at them because I havent been in water yet, so I dont know if I can swim or not. And it was cold anyway. We walked around this place called a park, and a big dog was coming toward me. I wasnt scare of him. I ran up to him like I was as big as he was.

Well, on our way back home, my Mommy made me ride in my crate because my Nana was sitting in 'my' seat. I whined and whined, but Mommy just told me to be quiet. Halfway home, we made Nana get in the car with Grand Daddy so I then I got to sit in My Seat and look out the window. I tried to get in Mommys lap and drive, but she kept putting her arm up and told me to sit down. But after trying for 2-3 more times, she gave in and let me drive again.

I had a really nice time on my vacation. I hope to go someplace else soon with Mommy and Daddy.

My smart Mommy and Daddy

I am so proud of my Mommy and Daddy. I've taught My Mommy some new tricks. She put a string on our back door with bells on the end of it. So when I feel like I want to go outside and 'water the grass', I'll hit the bells with my little nose and sit down. My Mommy gets so excited and she calls me really nice names and says I'm a Big Boy. She opens the door and lets me out and I run and sniff around our big yard. She gives me treats when I ring those bells. And if I water the grass really good, she will give me a treat when I come back inside.

My Mommy is sooo smart. I've even taught her to give me a treat when she says " Thumper - Down ". Why she wants me to lay on my belly all the time I surely dont' know. But if I can get her to give me treats, I'll keep on doing it.

My Daddy tries to get me to lay on my belly too when he says 'down'. But sometimes I act like I dont know what he is talking about. Then he slides my legs out and makes me lay down - wheeee - and he gives me a treat anyway. My Mommy and Daddy make me feel like a Big Boy when they get excited and call me nice names.

Well, I gotta go and rest for a while and think of some more tricks to teach my Mommy and Daddy.
