Arrival Story:
A neighbor knocked on the door one Saturday in August of 2001. He asked if this little 5 lb. puppy in a tattered collar was ours, since we had two dogs in the backyard. I said no, and he said that he couldn't keep her in the backyard, since he had a pool, and he was afraid she'd fall in. I told him I'd try to find her owners. I put up signs, and noone called. Finally gave her up for adoption, then went back and got her the next day. I'd already gotten too attached to her.
