Arrival Story: I had been bugging Rob about getting a dog for about a year when I searched on Petfinder.com and found Deuce, who was born on my birthday. I knew he would be ours. We went to visit him; he was MUCH larger in person than in his pictures (he was 50 lbs at 6 months old) and we almost passed on him b/c of his size, but then went back and took him home with us. Bio: The rescue that we got Deuce from had rescued his mother who was pregnant. Deuce and all of his brothers and sisters were born in their home, and Deuce had been one of the first puppies to be adopted. But the family that adopted him had other dogs and one of them bit Deuce on the face and they brought him back to the rescue. After that, no body wanted to adopt Deuce because he was a pretty big puppy, and everyone wanted the small puppies. Thankfully for him, we didn't mind him being almost full grown at 6 months old.
