Likes:
I love to sit on the back deck and guard my domain.

Pet-Peeves:
As most of my brothers and sisters, I too don't like rains storms with loud noises!

Favorite Toy:
I only play with toys if I need to get my Mommy's attention to let her know it's time to eat.

Favorite Food:
I will eat anything, if you put it in front of me, I will eat it. Once I ate about 7 lbs. of food that Mom had not put away yet. I thought it was ok, as it was just sitting out!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere, I just love to sniff the air and see new things.

Best Tricks:
I sit and toss my head from side to side and woof. Mom really likes this, and woofs with me. Silly humans!

Arrival Story:
I went to the groomers one day, and no one came back for me. The groomer took me home, and I lived with him for about 9 months, but then he had to move away. So he contacted Irish Setter Rescue, and they found my new family. Turns out she just lived a few miles from him. I was very scared when I first went with her to my new home, and I wouldn't go in their house. Finally after an hour of them trying to catch me, I went in. Then my new mommy and daddy laid on me and kissed me until I realized they were really nice, weird, but nice. After about a year I decided most humans were nice, and now I really enjoy humans. Mommy says I'm so silly, I remind her of some human named Phoebe from some tv show called friends. Mommy's the silly one, doesn't she know I'm a dog? How can I remind her of a human?

Bio:
Mommy's not sure, and I'm not telling, but she thinks I'm either an Irish Setter, or an English Setter, mixed with a poodle. When my hair grows out, it's really curly and blonde. Alls I know is I love to wag my tail.

cat toys

So I just thought I should warn all you dogs out there, stay away from cat toys! I think the cats are out to get us.
I have lived with cats since being with my new family. We have 5 cats. They have lots of toys like us dogs, and I always see them laying around. I usually leave them alone, cause they are too small. I didn't mean to, but I picked one up that's been in our home for about 2 years. It's a red and green solid felt ball. I accidently swallowed it. I scared my family very badly. They had to take me to a doggie hospital that is open at night, cause I was throwing up and very thirsty. They didn't know I had swallowed the toy. I was scared to tell them, I thought they'd get mad.
Mommy left me at the nite time hospital and they gave me lots of water stuff in my leg. It helped some, but I still felt really bad. They took a picture of my insides, but couldn't see the toy. The next morning I went to Mommy's work. (It's a doggie hosptial, too.) They took more pictures of my insides, next thing you know, Mommy's crying on me. I can't do anything to comfort her, cause I feel so bad, and can hardly move. They gave me more stuff in my leg, and I feel asleep. When I woke up I had a big cut down my belly, and my insides hurt REALLY bad!
I had to stay at the night hospital again the next night. But when Mommy came to get me the next day I felt much better. I couldn't wait to eat!!! She only let me eat small meals at first, but now that I feel better, she seems better. This is the 4th day since my surgery, and other than some soreness, I feel like a new dog.
Funny thing though, I can't find any cat toys in the house anywhere! The cats keep looking at me really mean like, and saying it's my fault. So stay away from there toys.
