Arrival Story:
Copper came about in to our lives (Lunar Kat) blue heeler and my self when we were looking to expand our family. I was looking for another Blue but to no avail. Took Lunar to the RSPCA to find a new friend, but she refused to be nice to any of them. Lunar knows what she likes. I found Copper Houdini from a Cattle farm litter her parents were both working dogs, she was the last one left - one look and that was it I was sold. But the final say was Lunar's and since that day Lunar and Copper can not be separated. Copper is the total opposite of Lunar. At first she was not people friendly even to her mum, she was Lunar's and Lunar's only. Now after her shoulder injury she has found her place in our home and never leaves my side. Lunar and Copper my Velcro dogs, they stick to you like glue.

Bio:
Copper had a injury to her shoulder when she was young and with the help of specialists and our vet and some long rest/confinement and without the aid of surgery Copper is 95% better and living a happy and healthly life. My nephew (2 years old) just loves Copper and Lunar, but Copper is his favourite. He was scared of dogs, but with some time with Copper & Lunar he has overcome this and when he visits, he can't stop kissing Copper. Now we have given him and his 2 bothers and sisters a dog from a shelter. He loves Midnight(staffy/lab cross) and so does the family. Copper is the ying to Lunar's (blue heeler adopted sister) yang. They feature in a web site http://www.heelersaustralia.com a site on information on Australian Cattle dogs.
