Favorite Toy: All sorts of balls, his teddy bear, and his duck.
Favorite Food: Right now he's like "I don't want to eat anything", but he's always trying to get his paws on some bones on the street.
Favorite Walk: In the yard in front of our bilding. He likes tall grass, so he also likes open fields even though he's not of those dogs who are always running around.
Best Tricks: Sit and stay, jump, say "woof", "who's that coming?" "who is that dog", give paw.
Arrival Story: I buy Teddy two months after I lost Mrvica. He was the first chosen male puppy and he was living with his dad. He was a scary little puppy when I took him home. For one day he diddn't want to come out of my room, he was scared of my cat Mackic, and diddn't want to see what the rest od the apartment looks like. After a while he decided that there's nothing scary out there so he finaly felt like at home :)
Bio: When Teddy was 6 months old he started to limp on his right back leg. We took him to the vet and we find out some unpleasant news - he was diagnosed with hip displasya. I was crushed, I felt really bad for him, because he will have to suffer with that for the rest of his life. But after a few months he was better and in one year you couldn't tell by just looking at him that there is something bad with his legs. But in february 2007 when I took him for a walk he suddenly ran across the street to see some dog, and car hit him, not directly, but after that he couldn't stand up. He diddn't want to eat, he was standing up like a 15 year old dog, and we took him to the vet, but he diddn't break any bone, those hips was just "shaked". So now we are back to begining, he lost a lot of weight, and he just isn't the same dog like befor that accident, but I'm doing my best to get him to be healty again. Of course he will never get healty because of those hips, but he will always have as many love as he can get.
Well, since my owner didn't get better, sadly the condition got worse, I don't have that many walks as I used to. So I'm spending my days mostly sleeping and worrying. I'm so happy when we finally go outside, I jump on her, but it don't feel the same without her smile on her face too.:(
She sad that we will run around like we used to, but now that time looks very far away. I feel her pain, and try to lick it away, but it doesn't work.:(
So for now I have to wait for her to get better. Sigh!
Now I have exactly 3 years and 9 1/2 months. Just 2 1/2 months till I'm 4. How time runs... Anyway, I was on my first serious vacation last month, I went to a mountain near my city, and it was great. This profile picture was taken there. You can see how I'm enjoying myself :) There was also a little river behind the house, so I went there at least two times a day to wash my paws :)) I wasn't so hot like in the city, so that was even better. I met some new dogs there, and one little puppy :) I didn't quite get the hole house concept, since I live in an apartment, so I follow my owner around and waited to be taken out :) After a few days I get that the door are always open and I can go to a toilet whenever I feel like it. And I can say that it was better that great!
After a week in that lovely place I have to go home. The trip back was horrible, it was hot, the car was small, my owner didn't feel well, so I couldn't wait to get back and end that agony. When we finally come back I was so happy that I almost jump on the door of the apartment to get in and relax.
Off course I missed that beautiful place, but I'm afraid that it was my last trip there, but my owner and I will find some other nice place to spend our vacation.
Till then my biggest hugs to all of you who are reading this. Kiss
