Happy New Year

Well, mom made us go for a long walk to ring in the New Year. Whatever. I'd have rather stayed at home and napped. While we were on our walk, Ellie was busy looking at something in the sky and stepped off of the sidewalk into a huge mud puddle. We got baths yesterday and I was hoping that she would stay clean for more than 24 hours. All I could do was shake my head in disgust. I can't believe that she's my daughter...such the opposite of who I am. Bogie was a good boy, he makes me proud.

It's raining very hard and it makes it difficult for me to potty on the lawn. The rain blows into my eyes and that just isn't very pleasant. I hope the sun comes out to visit me soon.

Firecrackers went off last night, so I didn't sleep well. I think that I'll make up for it today. I hate firecrackers and I really hate the human that invented them.
