Arrival Story:
sunday may 13 2001 i declared to a friend, "i'm ready for a dog," and caper was found in a dog run at madison square park in nyc that same day. that friend left me a phone message on tuesday that he received an e-mail at work that a "4-month old, lab/shephard mix, 40 lbs." needed a home. i called that same evening, accepted caper sight unseen, and picked him up at the very same dog run where he was abandoned on wednesday may 16. 50 lbs. and 3 years later, caper is the joy of my life. i'm so lucky he picked me. i'm honored to be capersdaddy.
