Arrival Story:
My rap sheet said I was 'Found wandering in Albuquerque' when I was adopted out of the Espanola Animal Shelter. My new people wanted me so much that they stood in the parking lot with me on a leash for 2 hours waiting for the adoption application to be reviewed. Then they went home and left me there, so I was a bit confused. Turns out I had to have a little surgery done before the Shelter would let me go. When I got to my new home there was lots of scary stuff and I was very confused and in a bit of pain from the surgery. There were stairs and it hurt to walk down them and I was scared to walk up them. And then there was this slippery wood floor. I can't believe how scared I was of it at first. By the time we moved out of that place of course I'd hit it full speed and not worry if I slid around. I was also sick for about 3 months, all the stress of being in a new place with scary floors and weird sounds and the yummy new food they were giving me upset my stomach all the time. I didn't mind because I was getting food every day, but I could tell they were worried so I worked really hard to get better.

Bio:
I am believed to be the worlds only successful Border Collie - sloth cross. My new mom wanted to do agility, but I said no way I'm messing with that stuff. I still make sure she gets her exercise with regular walks, but I'm not about to climb all over weird obstacles - I'd much rather lay around on the couch and soak up lots of pets and attention.
