The life & times of Rosie

I'm getting old!!!!

Well, I'm a whole 3yrs old now, and I feel ebery bit of it!! I have 3 little ones that I have to take care of (they're 1yr now) and they gets into eberyting and ten looks all sweet and incent wen Mommy comes home!!! Can u beweve tat? Mommy hadn't got their pages done yet, she's a slacker, ha ha, don't tell her I say tat. Nah, really she just wrks ALL THE TIME and spends the rest of it wib us wich is really fun!! We goes to the park and this summer her took us to the water, I think she called it the riber or sometig like dat. I knows dat wuz some COLD water, but it sure was FUN!!!!! I wish we culd go again, but it cold on mornings here now. Course, Mommy says it probly won't last so we may still get to go again!!! Yea, I hope so!! Mabe she'll leave the little ones at home tis time and jst take me, me, me!!! I doubt it toe, oops, I mean though. Still learning my abc's.
Well, that's all that's hapnd so far. Actuly, ter's lots more, but my paws are tired.

My first year

Well, it all started on Feb. 1, 2004 when I was born. I was the smallest of all of my brothers and sisters and they picked on me ALOT!!! Alot of people came to see us, but no one wanted me because I was so small. Then one night this man came in and was looking at my brother (he was the last boy), but I really wanted to go home with him. I stayed at his feet the whole time he was there, and followed him everywhere he went. He FINALLY picked me up and that was all it took!!! I had a new home!!!
Things were great at first. I was the only one there and got all of the attention!! My new Mom was great too, and so was my new two legged sister. They thought I was the cutest thing in the world (of course), and played with me and loved on me, and let me sleep with them. Then it happened!! They brought home a demon in dogs clothing!!!!! They called him Romeo, I called him "pain in the ***". He was smaller than me, and always wanted to chew on my ears!! Can you believe the nerve? Anyway, I finally learned how to kick him across the room! ha ha That was fun!! Romeo soccer!!!! ha ha
Then one day we moved to a new house and Daddy decided to give Romeo to a friend of his because he was sooooo hyper. Well, that very same day, Romeo was chasing a car and the car won. Mom cried for days because she had said that night that she was going back the next day to get him. She still cries when she looks at his pictures.
Now I have to put up with 4 other dogs!! Can you believe it? The things a girl has to go through!! So far it's allright though, because they all know that I'm #1, and if they try to forget it, I set them straight!!
Well, that's my first year with my Mom and Dad. I guess it's been a pretty good one. Oh, especially my birthday!! I got to go spend the whole day at the park chasing the ducks (stupid animals), and then we went to Petsmart to get some new toys, then went and got a hamburger and ice cream!! It was a GREAT day!!!
