this new pup and stuff

Ok, so I think maybe I don't mind this new puppy too much. She's not Rhu by any means, but she kind of looks like me, and she likes me. We have had lots of fun today. Fun prezzies and good food. Mom promises to put some pictures up of us with all our new toys. Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Any suggestions on how to make this puppy go away! He seems to be enthralled with me. Always barking and trying to get me to chase him down. I growl and bark and show all my teeth, and it seems to make him even more excited. I don't want to hurt him, but he just ain't gettin' it! I may have to eat him one day when mom and dad aren't looking!

fishing with Daddy

We went to the beach a couple weeks ago, and I got to help Dady catch fish from this big net. You can see in one of my photos that I caught one too. Daddy got a little scared at one point cause I was so excited I slipped off the dock and fell in the water. He freaked out and started to jump in the water after me. I don't know why, I know how to swim. He was reaching to pull me up on the dock, and I finally had to show him that it wasn't deep, and I just stood up. Momma just laughed. It was a lot of fun, but I was pretty tired afterwards. They took another picture of me sleeping in the car on the way home.

Dear Diary,
It's not bad enough that I have to wear this cone on my head, but did she have to put a picture of me up for all to see? How humiliating!!

Dear Diary,

Ok, this sucks! I had my lump removed, and it REALLY felt weird at the spot where they cut it out, and itched, so I licked it. I was only trying to keep it clean and help it heal. Well, Mom says I can't do this, so I did it when she wasn't looking.
NOW I HAVE THIS PLASTIC BOWL ON MY HEAD!!!!!
It made loud snapping sounds that scared me when Mom put it on too! She didn't even respond to my frightened plea of help. Mom is so mean! Even Daddy won't take it off!!! And I'm giving saddest eye looks that I can! It's just not fair! Lucy got her stitches/staples removed from her surgery last week, and she never had to wear one of these things. How am I going to sleep? Or EAT? This really, really sucks! Any suggestions as to how I get this thing off my head?

surgery day

Dear Diary,

I'm very nervous. Mom had a lump on my side looked at, and it's something that the vet wants to make go away. She says it's a mass cell tumor. This sounds scarey!
Mom has up-ed my vitamins, and is giving me other pills to make me as healthy as possible. I have to go under the knife tomorrow morning. Mom's worried cause my heart is not so strong. Seems I have a heart murmur. I tried to tell her it was just cause I was so happy to be with her and Daddy, but she says that's not the only reason. She's worried about me being under anesthesia because of it.
I'm kind of worried, cause this is how it all started with my buddy Spec. They thought he just had mass cell tumors too, but it was much worse, and he died. I don't want to die yet. I have more fun to have. So if you read this, please put some puppy prayers out there for me, and keep your paws crossed.
