Arrival Story:
I am a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. Because my owners had fostered dogs from a local shelter before, they called them before they got some dogs up from Louisiana to possibly foster one. And, like their previous foster dog, Rico, they adopted me pretty quickly after they took me home. :)
Bio:
I am kind of a nutcase. I usually have a lot of energy, after my brother died, I got kind of lazy, but dealing with a new puppy keeps me on my toes. The cats don't seem to appreciate me trying to kiss them, and I don't understand why my humans don't want me mothering the kittens (or why the babies keep hissing at me). I am continuing the family tradition of adopting dogs with health issues; I have food and environmental allergies and had to be treated for demodex mange. I love curling up on the couch and cuddling with people -- anybody, really.
My mom had a mutt test run on me and found out that I had some American Staffordshire Terrier, Labrador Retriever, and Basset Hound, with a trace of Bulldog.
