Arrival Story:
Went to see the litter when they were 5 weeks old and picked him out right away. Went back a week later to bring him home. He is a german blood line GSD and his dog dad has many awards & titles. As for his name, his human daddy is a big Mopar fan. In fact, Hemi does get to go for rides in the Charger and was even a big hit at a local Mopar car show! Hemi was a breeze at house breaking. He had run of the house at just 3 months - what a good boy! He lived for his weekly obedience classes and had a great time doing it.
Bio:
Hemi is just a happy boy! Me makes friends wherever he goes. He has beautiful markings and is so friendly. He has made some strangers a little uneasy when he "talks". He is a very talkative GSD - just like his doggy dad! Some people just don't understand his "language".

Wow! It is amazing how much busier I am with another brother to keep entertained. He really wears me out! We just love to play "chase" together outside. I think he might actually run faster than me too!

Much to my dismay, my mom brought home a new brother today. To top it all off he looks JUST LIKE ME! I'm not into competition, so I let him know right off the bat this is MY house. Luckily he listened and I think he realizes I am the alpha dog! The wierdest thing ever is that we are from the same bloodlines. Mom called on an ad in the local paper for someone looking to find a new home for their 15 month old GSD. Well, mom & dad were instantly hooked once they met him and reviewed his pedigree. Mom says that I am his uncle (my grandpa is his daddy). We lived only about a mile from each other and never knew it. I guess it is kind of good to have another GSD in the house. We'll rule over that Labrador! WOOF!

What a tough few months we've had around here. One of my human grandpas (mom's dad) passed away unexpectedly 7/8/06. My poor mommy has been very upset, but me and my fuzzy brother have been a great source of comfort for her. Now yesterday one of our human grandmas (dad's stepmom), who abolutely LOVED for us to come visit her, passed away. She especially liked me because she really liked German Shepherds. We're told that we've been very good boys! Even when one of our grandmas (mom's mom) has come over a few times to let us out if mom & dad are busy away from home.
