Arrival Story:
I had emailed a breeder in New York and asked if she had any puppies available. She referred me to a breeder friend in Kentucky whom I knew was an excellent breeder, when she emailed the picture of the cute little split-faced fluff ball, I knew I had to have her. She was what I had been wanting for so long. She has a wonderful temperament. She is very calm and has a very loving and sweet dispostion. She is actually the calmest border collie I've ever owned! She is a wonderful lap dog too, she loves to cuddle and will lie perfectly still for however long you are petting her. She is very smart as border collies usually are. She will sit, lie down, roll over, fetch shake paws, etc. all those usuall doggie tricks. She also loves to sit and put her paw on you like she is holding hands while you pet her.
Bio:
Cassie is a show dog and was in her very first show at the Tri-City Kennel Club September of '06 where she won Winner's Bitch for her very first point toward her championship. Woo hoo! Way to go Cassie! She won her first 3 point major at the Clinton County Kennel club on 4/1/07 winning Winner's Bitch and Best of Breed over a well-known special! She now has four points. Keep up the good work Cassie! As of 2009 Cassie is up to 8 points with plenty more shows to come. I'm sure she will be a champion in no time!
