Arrival Story:
We had a deaf Collie, and wanted to have a dog around the house that could hear. So, we found this litter of GSD/Malamute pups in the paper. They were bred for "disposition" . We picked him out of the large litter, he was the biggest pup. He also was alert and barked at the breeder when she pulled into her driveway she said. We brought him home in October. He was the first dog ever that we trained to walk off leash and stay with us. He always walked just ahead , as if to "scout out" the way. He would turn and look back at us , as if to say " I'm waiting for you"..... he was always at our side..... he never left.

Bio:
He was about 11 years old when he had a twisted intestine or a rupture of an internal tumor. He was in much pain, and with the vets advise, we put him to sleep. The vet said it could be a very painful surgery with no guarantee on the outcome. Also a lengthy and painful recovery. We could not bare to put our beloved Napoleon through any more pain. The vet came to our farm, and Napoleon is buried on the hill near the house, where he used to sit and "over see" his domain..... he is VERY much missed and loved. Always in our hearts..... forever.
