Betty hasn't mastered too many tricks yet but she's very smart...it's only a matter of time.
Arrival Story:
Originally, went to the pound looking for a stray that had been turned in. Ended up finding Betty. She had just been brought in and thank goodness we picked her. Many of the dogs at the pound were sick with kennel cough...when we first met Betty she seemed healthy enough but not very playful. (She was listed as being 2 years old but we knew she looked much younger and as we suspected, our vet informed us she was less than a year old). We took Betty home and within a day she became very sick as a result of being around all the other infected dogs at the pound. It took several doses of antibiotics and months to get her to the playful healthy pup she should have been. Now, she is completely healthy, spoiled, and loved.
