16 years and still chugging along

I am leaving my earthly body to be set free at the Rainbow- Bridge 11/23

This has to be another one of the saddest days of my life........Princess has given me the sign that she is ready to cross to the rainbow bridge to be with her best pal Isis........it's a strange feeling but someone once told me "you just know"......it's a look they give you when it's time.....
So with great sorrow I let my 17 year old queen pass peacefully into doggie heaven almost one year to the date that I lost my Isis.
I am trying to keep busy with my other dogs and I now have a new foster dog to keep me moving foward with our good rescue work......I will put a page for her in a few days time.

Cold, cold, cold and crazy cattle dogs

I just don't get it.......those crazy cattle dogs run in and out the dog door all day long. Slam, Slam, Slam............and then they almost run me over when they come flying through it at 90 miles an hour. Why don' t they just go out and stay out......do something useful like a fence patrol instead of flying around the middle of the yard , around the tree and then right back in again.
Herding a pine tree isn't going to prove anything......smart ~ yeah right!

Going back to bed where I can be cranky all by myself and figure out how to tell mom those cattle dogs aren't all that smart as they are cracked up to be.
I would go do the fence patrol myself but the snow is cold and slippery on my old feet.

The day after Boxing Day

It's Tuesday and at least it wasn't raining today.......mom came home at her usual time......I have eaten my dinner, visited with the other dogs, watched Sierra that crazy cattle dog puppy go in and out the dog door at least 100 times and now I am exhausted!
Mom put a few new pictures of me on my page but I am really hoping to get a few New Years pictures next week......party on!
