Quick Bio:

November 14th 2005

She most loves being with Mommy. It doesn't matter if she sits on her feet, sleeps on her lap, plays with her, walks with her, or gets carried around by her. She's a mommy's girl which is just what Mommy wanted!

Being alone. Being ignored. She's not too keen on getting her toenails clipped but we're working on that. And she hates it when her sister (the Tiger cat) smacks her too hard

Favorite Toy:
She loves ALL her toys! Especially new ones! Especially PINK ones!! (And they say that dogs are colorblind...)

Favorite Food:
She eats Flint River Valley because it was recommended by her breeder. She also likes yogurt. You should have seen how cute she was with yogurt all over her tiny face! Oh, and she LOVES chicken!

Favorite Walk:
She loves to walk to work with Mommy because we go by Daddy's work and he comes out to kiss us all. She also loves walking in Central Park because she meets so many other dogs.

Best Tricks:
She's a great kisser! Of course she sits and stays. She's doing great with "bring" (also known as "fetch"). She also does "tiptoes" (dancing on her hind legs). She also jumps in her bag when I say "In the Bag" and in her crate when I say "in the bed"

Arrival Story:
I have wanted a pug for about 5 years now. It has only been in this past year that my life has settled down enough to be able to get my puppy. As soon as I contacted my breeder, I knew that Kimberly was the breeder for me! She promised me a puppy right around the Christmas Holiday and sure enough we met and brought home our beautiful little Lotus Blossom on Jan 7th just after New Year's! We already have every supply a puppy/dog could ever possibly want/need including 3 collars, 5 food dishes, 3 leashes, a full wardrobe (including shoes), and a handmade armoire just for dogs! Not to mention her trainer, her basic neccessities (crates, toys, grooming tools, etc.), her vet, and her own pet cat, Lily who is taking very well to her new sister and plays with her every day! Please send Lotus lots of treats to welcome her to Dogster!

Lotus Blossom was born to proud pug parents Cleo and Milo Otis in West Virginia on November 14, 2005. Although tiny in size, she is a tremendous sweetie. Her AKC registered name is Miss Princess Pug LotusBlossom. She's actually named after the car, Lotus but we added the Blossom part to soften it up a bit.

Dear Diary,
I'm sorry I've been remiss. I've been very, VERY busy teaching Puglates classes. All the Philly dogs are getting in great shape but I'm exhausted!

I also just celebrated my 2 year birthday. We had a big party with all my best friends at my Puglates studio in Society Hill. It was so fun and I got some fabulous gifts. I chose the menu, theme, and decorations, AND pdesigned the goody bags myself! Whew! What a lot of work. I think everyone had a super time.

Even better, my very best friend, Kameko has been staying with us while her mother is visiting her family for Thanksgiving. We do everything together and are so happy to be able to spend so much time together. She goes back to her mom tonight and I'll miss her but I'll always have the memories...

My sister Lily is so cool. She plays with me and gave me a super cool stuffed cow (with squeaker!!) for my birthday. I love her so much. Sometimes I think I might love her too much... But mostly we are great sisters!

Gotta run diary, I've gotta go train some clients this afternoon and haven't had lunch yet!

Tail wag,

Busy year!

Hi Diary!
I know it's been a long time but I've been very busy. I'm grown up now (1 1/2 y.o.) and work for my mom teaching "Puglates". It's all the rage right now! I have many, many friends all over Philadelphia and NY including ANOTHER pug Blossom!!! Her name is MAPLE BLOSSOM (total coincidence!) and she moved in about 5 doors down from us. She is only a few months old but she can play hard!!! We play together every day and I gave her all my old baby clothes so that she can look really pretty. Of course, she is still a baby so I have to teach her things all the time but she's a really fast learner! Like, yesterday, we had our monthly pug meet-up and we took Maple with us. First I had to show her how to ride in the car and then I had to introduce her to all my friends at the park and then I had to teach her to stop for a drink of water. I was looking out for her too because some of the pugs are a lot bigger than we are (she's already almost as big as me!!!). We all had a great time. My best friend, Kameko, came with us too. She was "Honorary Pug" because she's a Boston Terrier but loves pugs. And after the meet-up, Kameko came over to my house where we played some more. I was EXHAUSTED the rest of the day but luckily, Mom and Dad slept in today so we got to snuggle all morning!!! I love my life!!

Fireworks Extravaganza

I did it! I saw my first fireworks display! I wasn't afraid at all. It was very beautiful (and loud) and I wanted to bite those fireworks right out of the sky (looked kind of tasty). Mommy held me the whole time and everyone was smiling and laughing. I even had my friends Kylie and Buttercup (Shih-tzus) over to our deck to watch with me! Afterwards, we pups went downstairs to play and I shared all my toys! We had such a great time that I stayed up until midnight! Mommy finally put me in my crate for sleepytime while she attended to her people guests.

Of course, I didn't tell you that I didn't get a nap that day because we also had our pug meet-up and I won 2nd place in the Patriotic pug contest. It turns out that the news camera was there again (and got me on film!) but Mom & Dad didn't watch t.v. that night because they were getting ready for their party. I'm a little sad because I looked really pretty in my red and white mini skirt with matching halter top and my big blue ribbon but oh well! It was so much fun! And I played really hard. What a day! In fact, I slept all day the next day and I'm even still a bit sleepy!
