I love the Christmas my humans put up in the living room. I usually lay in a sphinx stance, but the warmth and the aroma of the beautiful tree makes me plop right down on the red, floral carpet. We (Leola and I) had to pose for Christmas pictures with the human kids, but I didn't feel like it was a drag. I like showing off myself to all of the human's friends! Hehehehehe. I have got brave enough to crawl under the tree and chew on my Busy Bone so Leola won't get it. Guess what??? Louis is coming for Christmas! He's my best pal, but better yet, he's my fun loving Cocker Spaniel cousin! I love him a lot! Aunty Tevah is coming too. She and Leola don't like Louis, so I don't know what I am going to do with the two of them! Well, I have to run! I hope you all have a very merry Christmas! Buh Bye! ~Ysabelle Jewel
For Thanksgiving the family and I headed over to Sunriver! It was very cold there in my opinion because it is considered a 'high desert'. Anyways.... There was a small backyard with a fence that Leola and I couldn't of managed to squeeze under. There was a light frost the whole time, so our little paws froze! I felt oh so very bad for my petite little paws! For Thanksgiving dinner the human family went to the Grand Lodge to eat! It disgusted me!!! Leola and I didn't get a scrap of turkey or a little nibble of stuffing or a lick of cranberry sauce that dripped on the floor! We were just left at the cabin in our kennel, all alone! The only good part was we got payback by leaving a little puddle of wee wee in our 'cage'! So HA! I felt VICTORY! But then I feel bad because if you think about it our humans are very nice. I mean, they buy us our food and toys and medicine (ICK, but it makes us feel better) and they snuggle with us every night when watching some strange human show on the box that changes scenes! (I believe it is called a television... Not for sure though.) OH MY! I almost forgot! On the box we watched the Dog Show on Thanksgiving! I barked at the Doberman because it almost scared the poo out of me! I thought it was really gonna come out of the box and eat me up! I don't have anything against Dobermans, they are beautiful dogs, but this Doberman, in the box.... I though it was coming at me! So I got up to the box to try to scare it away, and I did because it went to some human medicine advertisement. My humans just laughed at me. I felt like a complete fool because I'm already the loon of the family! So I just sat down and quietly watched out the window at the big Chocolate Lab run off leash in the little meadow behind the cabin. Someday I hope my humans let me run off leash without a fence surrounding me..... I know it's just for my safety and it would be horrible if I saw a squirrel..... And, well, it's a long story.... I have heard the terrible stories of dear Mario, and I guess that's what the humans are worried about, so I can understand that. Well, my humans have to run down to the store, so I suppose I am going to be locked away in my room with Leola. Hmmm. Have a good day!
Love, Ysabelle Jewel
Here are the rules of this dogster game of "tag" in case you've never gotten a chance to play. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new DIARY entry" along with the rules and put them in your own DIARY. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged. Post their names also in your DIARY.
