Arrival Story:
Petunia (then inappropriately named 'Angel') was the first dog I saw at the SUPER Pet Adoption Fair in a booth that specialized in rehoming Pit Bulls. She stood out.

Bio:
Petunia was found under a car during an unseasonable rain storm. A very bad case of mange, a double row of teeth, and extra long nails. She was rescued by Forte Pet Foundation who paid for her teeth to be extracted, spay, mange treatment and boarding at a wonderful vet, Dr. Schlanger in West Los Angeles. She stayed in a cage for 2 months with intermittant cuddles and walks, so when I adopted her she had no muscle tone. I fostered Petunia for 2 weeks to see if my 60 lb. Labradoodle, Noodle, would adjust. Well........I guess they did. She mimics his every move. And they are deeply, madly in love...when they aren't play-fighting. Her little-dog yap is pretty much gone, although she's the watchdog HE should be. Petunia is full grown at 7 pounds, and her hair is getting fluffier by the day. She kind of looks like a Dandylion crossed with a Q-tip. We love her.
