Penny had to be given up by her loving elderly owners because her human dad had a heart attack and her mom and he had to move to an assisted living facility. Penny was distraught at leaving her home, but has adjusted very well to our home and dogs. She weighs approximately 45 lbs. now, down from a whopping 56 lbs.! She'll be in shape in no time at all, and ready to fill your life with beagle hugs and kisses! Penny is truly unforgettable and deserves a second chance with a wonderful new family. She loves children of all ages and was devoted to her "grandchildren". All the children in the apartment complex where she had lived would come up to visit Penny when she was out on her porch. She loves attention and praise, but please not too many treats, she's trying to regain her girlish figure!
