Alex loved to sleep outside & play with his mommy. He also loved to talk w/ his sister. He would always bark back when she talked as if they were having a conversation. He also loved kids & new people.
Alex did not like to be ignored or to be outside in the cold for too long.
Alex liked playing with people more than toys.
Alex enjoyed all kinds of foods, especially cereal :-)
Alex liked playing the back yard or walking around the block.
Alex was very calm & warmed up to new people better than most dogs. He also "talked" & had conversations w/ certain people.
My parents loved Shelties. In all they owned 3. Carlie was hit by a car, Courtney was stolen, & Alex died after 13 happy years with us. They became guardians through a breeder. Alex was also Courtney's father.
Alex was a very gentle & calm dog. He was never mean to anyone. He warmed up to ANYONE & everyone very well. He loved to play outside, but also come inside when it got too cold. He had a very good relationship w/ my mom & they even had a little "talk" the night before he died. He had been getting weak as he got older & we think he was attacked by a swarm of bees. My mom told him the night before that if he wanted to go he could go so he wouldn't be in pain anymore & she wouldn't be mad at him. He is buried in our backyard next to my nephew Marcus' kitten, Emma, who died very young.
Alex- Everyone's best friend.

Jake would have been my brother, but he wasn't adopted until after I came home here to Heaven. His mommy, Samantha, was my sister... her mommy was my mommy... She was very good to me. I miss her, but Heaven is very very fun for doggies. We get to have parties and eat all the treats we want without getting FAT!!! This is my first Christmas away from my family, but everybody here assures me that doggie Christmas in Heaven is a blast. We get a party and presents and all kinds of neat stuff. We also get to sleep on clouds! Its much better than any blanket or bed I've ever felt :-) I hate the cold, but when it snows in Heaven, it doesn't have to be freezing cold. Jesus is cool like that. wink wink. I miss everyone very very much, but I'm looking down and Jake is doing a pretty good job as the new doggie of the house. All of us pets up here in Heaven wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and Holiday Season!!! Have fun everyone and hug your doggies extra tight at Christmas time.
