Christmas 2009

It's been a busy year, but all is good. My mom had open heart surgery, which was really stressful, but then she was home with me for almost three months while she recovered. I also got to go on our family vacation, which was sooo much fun.

Last night was my families Christmas party, which was actually really stressful, because my Bichon cousin was here, and I HATE her. She makes me get my Elvis lip out. Also, we have a new baby in our family and I had never seen one of those before. I wanted to take care of the baby, because I don't think my family was doing a very good job. I followed that baby all night, and got really upset when he would cry. I had to babysit him all night, it was a lot of work. My family took a picture of me on duty, maybe they will add to my site. I was so tired I have slept pretty much all of Christmas day thus far. WoW!!! Babysitting is hard work!!!

I have moved...

It's been so long since my last entry. I have since moved to Illinois, which was a big change. I miss my old house a lot, but am getting use to my new house just as well. The best thing about moving is that all my family lives here, so we have visitors all the time, and they all just LOVE me. Also, we live in a neighborhood with lots of people and dogs, its awesome. My mom leaves the front door open so I can watch out the big glass door, and bark at everything that goes by (thats my favorite part).

Boy, Did I luck out!!!

They (my mom and Lori) got up really early this morning, so right away I knew I was going to the Groomer's. So, as soon as we turn on to the road that lead's to the groomer's I start shaking like a Chihuahua. Right away my Lori noticed and attempted to comfort me. We get to the groomer's to discover my groomer (Jane) is sick, and can not groom me today. The other groomer offered to fit me in to her schedule, but my Lori said no that we would re-schedule. What a relief that was, because that evil groomer about skinned me one time. My family knows what is best for me, but wow was that close.

Happy Howl-idays Everyone!!!

Christmas was such a blast! I got tons of toys, chewies, and treats. Then I tried to shread the tissue paper all over the house, but I got busted. You know how us Bichons like to shread tissues. Then we went to Illinois to my Aunt's house for our family Christmas. That was sooo much fun, everyone passed me around and I got so much attention. I wore my Christmas sweatshirt that my Lori bought me, everyone loved it, except for me. *growl* My Aunt even bought two presents for me. Then the next day I got to play with 4 children (cousins to my Lori), man did they wear me out. I slept all the way back to Missouri, which was a whole 5 hours. It has taken me a whole 4 days to rest up from my trip, but now I have all my energy back and I am guarding the house from the workmen in the neighborhood. *growl* *growl*

To get beautiful is such a pain.

Today my mom and Lori got up around 7 am, so right away I knew something was up. Next thing I know I am in the car and on my way to the groomer's. When it was time to get picked up, my mom and dad came to get me. I ran right past mom straight to dad, because I was still a little upset with mom for taking me to the groomer's in the first place. In spite of all the trauma of getting groomed, I must admit I look good.

Going to the Bank

Dear Diary,

Today was an extra special day for me, because I got to go to the bank. I LOVE going to the bank, because they always give me a milk-bone. This day was different, because they gave me two bones this time. I was not happy about getting a bath yesterday, but it sure paid off today. I ate one bone on the way home and then saved the other one for later. I hope there is another trip to the bank in the near future, because I love free treats.
