Arrival Story:
We were looking for a yorkie to mate with my chihuahua and lo and behold, yahoo pets advertised him up for adoption. we were interviewed along with other potential "parents" for him and the girl really liked me and my husband. She could not care for him anymore since she was going away to college and she really wanted to make sure that Bear went to a good home. He was not really abused, but he was relegated to live in the laundry room and when we got him, he was not potty trained, he was afraid of everything - I mean everything - grass, collar, anything he was not exposed to - he is a lot better now and he really is much happier with us. The first few weeks were really tough on him and on us because we did not want him to have psychological problems, and thankfully, he is now a very well adjusted dog!
