Arrival Story:
Ariel is a retired show dog who obviously wanted to hang out with the humans instead of the other dogs! Her breeder/handler is one of our best friends. We wanted a dog of our own, Ariel wanted a human of her very own, so she came to live with us when she was 8 years old. She had recently lost a little of puppies when we brought Remy (poodle) home when he was 10 weeks old. We think that Ariel thinks Remy is her son - one of her lost litter. And we KNOW that Remy thinks that Ariel is his mommy! Ariel says "yes, he is the world's ugliest dachshund, but he is my son and I love him anyway!" Ariel raised Remy, teaching him to go in his crate, how to potty outside, how to play and how to behave himself. She got her ears bitten a couple of times in the process, but she's raised a pretty good boy!

I'm 11 years old today!
I simply LOVE birthdays!!! I got lots of dog cookies and a new bed with my name on it : "Princess Ariel"!
AND, I'm going to get a new Octofuzzy (furry octopus toy) soon!!! I love Octofuzzies!

Well, you won't believe it!!! Without getting off the sofa, I won another ribbon!!!
I won 3rd place in the Virtual Dog Show Hound group!!
My mommy now has me entered in another virtual show - this time dachshunds only!
