Our current dog, Mr. Lucky, had ran away, so a few months later we were on a search for a new dog... this time a basset hound. My husband found a basset houned (adult) at a local shelter and we went down there to see him the next weekend. He just didnt seem like our type. We stayed in there for at least any hour, until I started to get upset. We went into the puppy area and "snookums" was just sitting there. I took to her immediately! So, we just had to have her. We brought her home and named her Daisy! She has been the best dog to us!
