 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: October 13th 2005
Likes: Running around the house like a crazed Tasmanian Devil on speed. Chewing his toys (and the cats), getting treats, car rides and being loved.

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone for too long and having his treats stolen by PJ.

Favorite Toy: This old blue plush elephant I got at Petsmart last year. Now it's just a smelly old fuzzball of a toy.

Favorite Food: A burger from Dick's Drive In

Favorite Walk: everywhere

Best Tricks: Sit.. that's about it.

Arrival Story: We adopted Moxy from a breeder in Yelm, WA around Christmas 2005. We had been talking about getting a Shiba for almost a year, and just after we moved into this house, we decided now was the time. We contacted the breeder and said we would like a boy out of her next litter. a few months went by and she finally had a pregnant dog. But there was only one pup in the litter, and that was Moxy. Moxy was supposed to be a show dog, so he was promised to another gentleman.. but when Moxy was about 6 weeks old, the breeder contaced us asking if we would like to adopt him. She was not happy with the man she promised Moxy to, and thought we might like him. When he was 9 weeks old, we drove out to Yelm to meet him and decide if we wanted him. We sat on her couch and talked for a while, and then she brought him out and set him onto the hardwood floor of her living room. Moxy was bouncing all over the living room, trying to play with everyone and everything. Soon one of her cats walked through the living room and Moxy ran to him and latched onto the poor cats side.. dragging Moxy halfway through the living room and into the kitchen. As scary as it may sound, we knew right then Moxy was for us. We have three tough old cats and home, and we needed a pup who could stand his ground with them. Moxy came home with us that night.. he's been a handful, I can say that for sure. But it's been well worth it. He's just over 2 years old now.. hHe's a lot calmer and even sweeter than he was when he was younger.
