Leave a bone for Phoebe (Fee-bee)

Phoebes (Feebs), Lil' itty, Lil'bitty, Baby Girl, Phoeber Leeber, Meanie, Psycho

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-purebred-dog rescue

Ice Cubes!! She loves being wherever mommy is. She would prefer to always be held like a baby or be curled up in mommy's lap.

Getting trampled on by her big brothers (they all outweigh her by at least 40 lbs each!!) Being bothered by her brothers when she wants to be left alone!!

Favorite Toy:
loves tennis balls and most any kind of dog toy. Unfortunately, we don't buy dog toys anymore though b/c they get ruined in record time and the dogs always want what the others have!

Favorite Food:
peanut butter, popcorn, treats, anything mom and dad are eating! She isn't a huge fan of her dog food. She would rather eat her weight in ice cubes than eat her dog food on some days!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere we go she wants to go. She acutally prefers NOT to walk, but to be held when I walk! If it was up to her, she would just rather go anywhere in the car so she can poke her head out of the window!

Best Tricks:
She will stand on her back feet and dance in circles for ice cubes. Didn't teach her that, she just does it! Funny to watch!

Arrival Story:
Little Miss Phoebe was the dog of a girl I knew at my old apartment complex. She and her boyfriend bought Phoebe, but they broke up and never really were good parents to her. She was always in her kennel and never got pottie trained. They locked her up all of the time b/c she messed in the apartment, but obviously that goes back to the not being pottie trained thing! Anyway, when the girl was short on cash, she said she was just going to sell the dog for $100. At that point, I already had three dogs and wasn't in the market for another one, but I couldn't stand the thought of Phoebe going to the home of someone I didn't know. So..the animal rescuer in me and my fiance decided to make her our own! Phoebe was never properly cared for. She was 5 months old and had never been to the vet or the groomer since her first puppy shots the breeder gave her. I told the girl I would give her $50 since I had to take her to the vet, and the groomer and eventually to have her spayed. I never wanted a little dog, but I just love her! It is fun having a little doggie to hold and snuggle with. It is fun to take her along with me to places and she fits nicely in shopping carts!

Phoebe has a sort of split personality. She can be the sweetest angel baby, and the spawn of the devil! Don't let her sweet looks fool you, she is a tough girl! She does not put up with any crap from her brothers and has no qualms about snarling and showing her teeth when they get in her personal space! She also isn't big on the ladylike thing. She belches and grunts. Her belches have turned heads! They usually occur after drinking or eating and you can almost count on them daily! It really is a funny thing to hear such a loud, obnoxious sound come from such a cute little thing! She is also a grunter, snorter and snorer. She makes the funniest sounds when you pet her and when she sleeps. She is the only snorer in the family! Even though she has her moments, she is my little baby girl and I love her to death!
