Arrival Story:
My husband and I looked in the local newspaper for a Pitbull.We had no experience, just seen one before and had to have one. We met the guy along with the litter of puppies (4weeks old) and their father. My husband picked him because he would not stay in the cage the guy had. He really picked us. Again, we kenw nothing about Pitbulls. I went and read every book about them but he was sick (there is not a book about that). With many trips to the vet and taking 1 day at a time (with the vet saying that he was going to pass) we nursed him back to health. In the time he was sick and due to the young age from leaving his mother, he never learned obedience. So he has a very large attitude problem. His way or no way.
