Things went very wrong for a little field mouse that caught my attention while out on a walk the other day. When Annie realized that I was avidly fixated on something and was seriously holding my ground, she knew that this was going to be something big. I just knew that something was there... and before you could say Mickey Mouse BAM! I had a mouse in my mouth and proudly looked back at Annie. All she could see was said mouse’s tail sticking out between my lips. Annie was so grossed out, but not me. I was THRILLED.
Annie made me go onto the porch, where I proceeded to spit it out at her feet. Things didn't look so good for the mouse... it didnt' move. Annie told me that I had to still do my business and made me go out into the yard. Being a good girl, I promptly took care of business and was eager to get back to my mouse. Annie had something else in mind, and tried to trick me into going in the house from the other end of the porch. But NO SUCH LUCK! I am too smart for that!
As soon as we were on the porch, I lunged and got my mouse back. I just wanted to go inside where it was cool and check my mouse at. Annie didn't think that was such a good idea.
So she walked me and my mouse over to the car. She opened the door and I tried to jump in. But Annie would have none of that! Instead, she showed me a dog biscuit and I dropped my mouse to take it. Instead of giving me the biscuit, she quickly brushed my mouse under the car, grabbed the biscuit and walked me a few steps away and then gave it to me. Geez... can't a girl have any fun???

Ben already told you about all the squirrels and rabbits in our yard.. and birds. Well... I can't stand it. I want to run and play with all of them, but my Mom doesn't like me dragging her all over the place. You see, I have to go outside on a leash.... because I'm not "trustworthy" enough to stay in the yard. But how can I? There is so much to see and do! I'm a very busy girl...

A Secret Santa named Casey sent me a gift. She's a yellow Lab from West Virginia. She sent me a package of biscuits.
They are YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY! I could have ate them all night, but my Mom wouldn't let me. She did let me have quite a few though, and they're AWESOME!!!! FOR-REAL!!!!!
My Mom added a picture of me looking at my gift. If you want to see tohers, visit: http://www.fototime.com/inv/E5E51CEBFB818C6
