Best Tricks:
Lots of tricks but she does a fabulous routine with her brother Jeb on a scooter - Shelby pushes and Jeb rides. Shelby also does a great "speak"!

Arrival Story:
We had been looking for mini dachshunds and ran into my husband's college roommate who had been volunteering at a shelter that just got in 2 mini dachshunds (see "Jeb", Shelby's brother). And despite all the other applications, we were approved!

Bio:
Shelby is named from "The Simpsons" - the town the family lives in is Springfield, and the neighboring town is Shelbyville, named for Shelbyville Manhattan. Shelby was a grand marshal of the Boca Raton Holiday parade this year. She and her brother and buddy (and fellow wiener doggie) Sprocket rode in the Ocean Rescue truck and waved to the crowds! They were a big hit! Shelby was also in the local newspaper (see photo) when she entered a doggie calendar contest. She didn't win the contest but she made the paper!
