carrots, a french fry slipped under the table, warm sunny spot on the stairs, balled up socks and a good 7 hour nap, freedom of bark, hybrid cars, and cruising the Puget Sound in the mighty Boston Whaler

Angus, baths, pesky cats, Angus, not leaving the laundry room door open for my 2:00am water run, Angus, zealots, Angus, intolerance and alarm clocks

socks and underwear, never to chew, just to nuzzle whilst she slumbers

no complaints yet on the 17+ years of Iam's mini-chunks, but she could dominate a chalupa given the opportunity
Favorite Walk:
as long as it is short (check out my legs) and not to the groomer or vet, they are all favorites
Best Tricks:
sleeping 22 hours straight, that intoxicating aroma she emits that can clear any room, big or small
Arrival Story:
One visit to the animal shelter and it was love at first sight... we have been together for 17+ years!
Bio:
Update: 9/27/06... Sad to put this in writing... I guess it's official now. Pickles rode her last wave in August and we are forever grateful for the 17 years we had with her as our faithful little sidekick. We miss her funny ways. her endless napping and piercing bark when she wanted attention. She was essentially, the World's Oldest and Bestest Damn Dog EVER! What a long fantastic journey!
Update: 4/12/06.. Yes, she is still alive. She has walked off a 6 ft high deck, run into glass doors, had a bizarre bout of near death infuenza... but somehow she keeps on truckin'. She cannot hear or see very well anymore but her sniffer still works! She is happy all the time and still has a little "giddy-up" in her... occassionally! She is the best dog ever and if we could clone her we would do it!

I notice that they whisper now.
Although I do not hear.
Brows furrowed about health concerns,
"The end is surely near..."
Grimace not for my sake.
My welfare is in my paws.
My intention is to go on forever,
Despite natural laws.
Teeth?!? Who needs 'em?
I smell...? It's all in your head!
All I ask from you my friend,
Is some food, love, and a warm bed.
