All Day At The Vet

Guess where I was ALL DAY today...the VET. Mommy got me dressed this morning and took me with her. Hmm..she normally leaves me at home every morning to go to school. I thought I was going somewhere fun - at least I had to be going to Wiggles & Wags to play with Lolli and Taffy. Nope - to the vet. We were just there on Friday for a long time so was I back there so soon? So, I've been having some accidents in the house recently and I was bad and peed on Mommy's bed, but I couldn't help it. I just had to go real bad all of a sudden. And I've been so thirsty so I drink a lot of water...so I had to pee! So Mommy took me to the vet Friday to see if something was wrong with me. The tech walked me and kept sticking this tray under me when I would try to pee, and then I got stuck with a needle so they could take some of my blood. I heard the vet say my bloodwork was all normal and I had some kind inflammitory cells in my urine so she thought I had a urinary tract infection. So Mommy took me back today so they could get another urine sample to send to the lab to get a culture. See Mom, I'm wasn't just being bad...I just had to pee. I sure was glad when Mommy finally came to pick me up

I'm 3 years old!!!

Today I turned three years old! And I had the best birthday party! Taffy and I have the same birthday so we had a joint-Birthday party. We had it at the doggie daycare place. There were yummy cupcakes and treats for us, and our Mommies and Daddies had pizza, snacks, punch and cake. I loved the cupcakes...although I had to make sure no one tried to steal it! I had so many friends there! It was awesome - we played and played. And I got some wonderful presents. I got a free pass to daycare, two toys, and four really cute dresses! I had the best birthday ever

Yorkie Meetup, surprise party, and doggie daycare

It sure has been an exciting week. It all started with going to Ft. Worth last weekend. Mommy bought me a really cute new Paris Hilton dress at GlamourDog, I got snuck into all kinds of places in my carrier, and best of all - I got to go to my very first yorkie meetup! There were 12 of us yorkies there all together and gosh, we were all so cute!! The park was so nice and shaded so we didn't get too hot. Our mommies just sat around the table while we played and then hung out under their feet. It was so much fun meeting new yorkie friends. I hope we get to go to another meetup soon. But mommy is starting vet school so she's going to be really busy - but she better not be too busy for me! Then we got back to my grandparents house and had a surprise party for my mommy's Memaw. There were so many people in the house and four little kids. The kids kindof scared me because they were chasing me but I was smarter than Rylie and knew how to get out of the way. Poor Rylie kept getting caught and Mommy had to save him. He wasn't very happy. Tuesday we drove back home to College Station and Mommy has been so busy since we got back. She had orientation Thursday and Friday ALL DAY so she took me to Doggie Daycare. I wasn't too sure about it at first. I didn't know why mommy left me there and I didn't know if she was coming back. I just walked around for a while but finally started playing some. Of course, I had to let those other doggies know that I was the top dog there so I had to be a little stuck up. We played and then I got to go into the Princess room for my naptime - cause I'm a Princess! Then we played some more. Finally, I saw mommy walk through the door. I was happy to see her but so tired. I think I slept the rest of the afternoon. I got to go back to daycare on Friday and this time I knew mommy would be coming back. I saw my friends from the day before and got so excited. Daycare sure does make me dog tired though. Mommy starts classes on Monday and I'm really going to miss seeing her all the time, but she says I can go to daycare sometimes and go hang out with Lolli and Taffy.

Weekend at the Lake!

I spent the weekend at our Lake House with my grandparents, Mommy, and Rylie (my boyfriend). Today Mommy put my bikini on me and took me and Rylie out on the boat! I wasn't sure about it at first..it was wierd rocking back and forth like that, but once we started moving and the wind started blowing through my hair - it was fun! Mommy put my sunglasses on me because it was bright outside and she thought I needed eye protection too. Or maybe she just thought I looked cute :-) We rode around the lake for a while and then we stopped and Mommy wanted to take me in the water...what??? That was A LOT of water! She got in the lake with a raft and had Grandma hand me down to her. That was scary..I thought I was going to fall in...but I didn't. Once I got used to being on the raft it wasn't so bad. The water was nice and cool...hmm...this is pretty fun. I even walked from Mommy's raft over to grandmas once. We floated around for about an hour and I got all wet. Other people drove by in their boats and stopped to look at me. What?? They've never seen a dog in a bikini and sunglasses on a raft in the middle of the lake before??? Once Mommy got me back on the boat I fell asleep as we drove back to the house. I think we need to go to the lake more often!

Dog Show & Fashion Contest

Yesterday we went to the dog show in Houston! Lolli, Taffy, Layla, Prissie and I all dressed alike in our Monkey Daze Polka Dot Denim dresses and matching bows. There were so many dogs there and of course I had to bark at most of them...even those perfect show dogs! We shopped around forever and I got the cutest new dress and bow. And of course we had to watch the yorkies being shown. Wow were they pretty!

Today I was in Fashion Contest and I was so excited to win! Mommy told me I was a diva with a little too much attitude. Oh well..don't hate me because I'm beautiful!

New Doggie Day Care in College Station!!

Well..if you read my last post you know I was dissapointed about missing out on going to the lake. I still am but it's not so bad because I got to go to Lovan Care's new Luxury Boarding & Doggie Day Care Open House tonight and will be going to a big event that Woodstock Animal Foundation is having tomorrow. The new boarding place is so cool! I even saw my beautiful Yorkie friend, Sophie, there and met a new puppy friend named Bella! Hopefully we'll all get to play at doggie day care soon! They had five huge boarding suites. My favorite of coarse was the Princess room, but the two Beach-themed rooms were so cute too! There was also a Cowgirl room and a Cowboy room. The big play area was nice too with lots of fun toys! Mommy said I'll get to go to doggie day care sometimes since she's starting Vet School this fall. I think it will be fun even though I'll MISS MY MOMMY LIKE CRAZY!!! All You BCS spoiled doggies need to go check out this place! I think all the cool dogs are going to be going there!

Stupid Rain! :-(

I'm soooo dissapointed! Mommy and I were supposed to go to the Lake House this weekend with my grandparents and my boyfriend, Rylie. We have been so excited. Mommy even bought me a new Little Lily bikini and I was going to finally wear my pink sunglasses! But it's supposed to rain rain rain...yuck yuck yuck! So we can't go... :-( Mommy said we're going to try again in a couple weeks to go. It better be SUNNY!!!

Turky Jerky

Guess what my Mommy is doing right now??? She is making treats for me! They are in the oven and smell so good. I can't wait until I get one! She borrowed a doggie cookbook from Oakley's mom and wrote down some recipes. Tonight we are making Turkey Jerky. It's ground turkey with a little Italian dressing and water blended up and then spread on to a pan to slowly bake for 2 hours. Then she cut it up into 1in squares and is baking it for another two hours so it turns into Jerky. Yum Yum! She even wrote down birthday cake recipes and some cookie recipes. I can't wait to try them all!

Tanning and Bath Junkie

Mommy signed up for a membership at a tanning salon and took me with her to tan for the first time Saturday. I got to go in one of the rooms with her. Of course I had to stay in my carrier so I didn't get exposed to the light. I'm glad dogs don't need to tan! Then she took me to Bath Junkie to make Doggie cologne for me. We got to smell all kinds of scents. Mommy really liked the chocolate & Candy Cane combo but she said that if she sprayed that on me she might try to eat me...BOL. She finally decided on Oatmeal, Milk & Honey with Tropical. It smells really good! After my bath tonight Mommy sprayed some on me and now I smell so good!
