Afraid for my life!!

I have had a rough couple weeks. Mom took me with her to visit a friend. Her friend was babysitting his daughters Mastiff, Hercules and he did not like me.....he doesn't like any other dogs!!

When Mom came in from outside Hercules snuck in right behind her and he attached me!! He had me pinned on the floor of the livingroom and I don't remember much. I heard Mom yelling at him to stop and then Mom's friend came running and hauled his 150 lb body off of me. Quite a feat since Moms friend doesn't weight much more than that himself!!

I could not believe it when Mom checked me over and found a spot of blood on my furr but no bite marks. I must have went into herding mode cause Hercules had blood coming from his mouth, looked like he bit his tongue, and was limping!! I wasn't even sore the next day.....I consider myself really lucky!!!

All during the visit Hercules had to be kept in solitary confinment and Mom and her friend took me with them and played with me every day. Can't say I felt sorry for Hercules considering what he tried to do to me!! But it was troublesome to be put in the bedroom everytime Hercules was let outside from his basement room and then put back in the bedroom when he was escorted back inside. I'm just glad I did not have to deal with him face to face again, even though when he was outside he would look in the windows to see if I was free to roam the house!!

Now I'm back home and relaxing with my brother.....a white cat named Mon Surprize....can't say I missed him much but he is a lot nicer than Hercules was to me!!!

What a week!

Well I got to spend all last week with my mom!! Not necessarily a good thing cause she was sick, but she was home with me and I got to cuddle with her all week!!

Mom introduced me to a new member of our family a month ago. My new brother is an all white cat with a black smudge on his head. His name is Sir Prize cause we had no idea his mom was pregnant with him and he was born on July 4th. Most of the time I call him Monster!! He thinks he's a dog and I think I'm a cat so we get along great! We wrestle around and I realize I am bigger than him so I usually let him win. Just got word his mom had two more babies on Thanksgiving and again we had no idea she was pregnant!!

I got a new toy over the weekend that is a rubber dog with a fuzzy center and when I bite down on him he talks. Mom throws him and when I catch him I make sure I squeeze hard enough to make him say something. One of his sayings is "Throw the ball, throw the ball!!" He sounds like the dog on Over The Hedge that says, "Play? Play? Play!!!"

Well it is time for me to go out and throw my rope. Mom has taught me that I can play for a while and then she gives me 5 times of throwing the rope by counting backwards till she says she is done. I recognize both her hands up in fists as done and we come back in the house. She says I am so smart to be able to go outside without a leash and never leave the yard!! See ya all later!

It's My Birthday It's My Birthday!!

Today I turn 3 years old!! Mom has been so busy with her job and life that I am missing a lot of rides in the truck, but she brings me home a Happy Meal to make up for it occasionally!! We enjoyed a movie last night, well mom and sis did, but I got to lay across mom's feet and get some rubbing off and on!!

Gosh I can not believe I am 26 in dog language!! I should have a wife and kids!! Well I did have kids and one is still alive but I don't get to see him much. Jake passed away just about a year ago but Elwood is still the wild man he has always been. I would love to have more kids though but I want to have some who look like me!!So if any female is ready to start a family and she looks like me, just drop me a line and we can talk about it!!!

I hope I get some new toys today!!!

By the way one of my friends, a cat named Mickey has gotten lost!! She lives in Wichita Kansas but was visiting a friend of her dad's around Seneca and 2nd when she disappeared. If you see a grey and black stripped cat with white on her face, I hope you will let me know!!

I Feel Loved!

My mom has been very busy and just now has time to write a little on my behalf. She gave me a Valentine's toy over two weeks ago and I have already taken all the stuffing out of it and it only has the squeeky part still in it. But that doesn't stop me from asking her to throw it so I can catch it!! I was given to my mom as a birthday gift almost three years ago and I have been her constant companion ever since.

Sometimes when mom has to be gone from home for long times I am a bad dog cause I show her I miss her in the most horrible ways!! Pulling down the curtain, getting into the trash, and making a nest out of mom's bed. But I try to be good if I know she is going to take me with her in the truck. I love riding in the crew cab and pretending to try and catch the cars as they pass us going the other way by biting at the windows!!

I don't think mom believes it sometimes when I understand what she says! She looks amazed when she asks me to go get my toy and I do it or when she tells me we are going for a ride and I get all excited. But I do understand and I know when she needs me too. When she got sick a couple weeks ago I sat next to her and kissed her hand to comfort her. And when that strange man knocked at the door, I made sure he knew he couldn't come in!! I also curled up with her to watch a movie and even got up a few times to check out the dog walking across the TV screen! But it scared me when she cried at the end till she told me it was happy tears.

Tonight I will get to spend some quality time with mom till she goes out with her friends to sing karaoke. I love hearing her sing but they won't let me go into the places where she goes....darn! Maybe someday they will open a karaoke place where you can bring your pets!!

Mom has to go to work so I will have to close this for now.....hopefully I can write more later!!
